Hello, Bitcointalk community,
I am facing a serious emergency and am looking for technical guidance. My tokenpocket multi-sig wallet has been handed over to the rogue and I’m locked out. I think the attacker has changed the parameters of the smart contract.
Blockchain Network: Tron
Multi-sig wallet address: (tdtcr8wbladfyrekvobsswhaj351ednrt) (You can look up this in Block Explorer such as Etherscan, bscscan, etc.
Original Setup: I originally set up a (2-of-3) multi-sig wallet. That is, (2) a signature was required from a possible owner address.
What happened: I can no longer approve the transaction. If you look at the Multisig’s “Management” section of TokenPocket (or by looking at the Block Explorer agreements), you will see that the list of owners or the required signature threshold has changed without your consent. The attacker controls enough keys so that I don’t sign.
Current status (check your wallet admin for this):
・Current signature required: (4 of 5) ・Current list of owner addresses: (tjdbvgik2pdtnhddsyod4qh16e11f4vxyrthe4xmglleks9iclzw6y3f1sbuxmfovhv9
- What I’ve done so far: Contact the official Tokenpocket support and await a response. We also reserve all our other wallets and devices.
My question to the community: Given that the attacker appears to have changed the owner list or threshold for a multisig contract, is there a way to reverse this action? Are there any features within a standard multisig agreement that can be used by the remaining legitimate owners to reject or reverse such changes? Or, if these parameters are changed, will the wallet be considered permanently damaged?
The technical insights and directions on how to further explore this will be highly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
