The defendant named in the bombshell gambling case involving NBA coach and Hall of Famer Chauncey Billups has had at least $400,000 in Ether (ETH) removed from his wallet and likely seized by the FBI.
Money laundering suspect Anthony Schneiderman had moved 100 ETH from his wallet six days earlier after a test transaction, a sign that the FBI or another government agency was in control of the wallet.
Schneiderman, who uses Bored Ape as an avatar on numerous social media accounts, has never been skittish about his involvement in illegal sports gambling, and has repeatedly contacted individuals on X to ensure he can pick winners.
It’s unclear if anyone took him up on his offer..
Another crypto ally and X user, “FreeMoose_NBA” aka Mustafa Omar, was interviewed on The Pablo Torre Show a few months ago and described what appears to be a gang of NBA-adjacent gamblers, launderers, and fixers.

Schneiderman sued OpenSea and PayPal
Schneiderman is accused of fraudulent sports betting and helping criminal organizations move funds, while also paying lawyers to file lawsuits against several major financial and cryptocurrency companies.

He sought more than $1 million in punitive and compensatory damages.
In an ironic twist of fate, Schneiderman A class action lawsuit has also been filed against OpenSea.claimed that the platform was selling unregistered securities, and he proudly displayed “unregistered securities” on Instagram and X.
The case was voluntarily dismissed.
Big Crypto Investor, Enthusiastic Company Founder
Schneiderman has never portrayed himself as humble and soft-spoken, which appears to have upset the impartiality of other crypto traders and NFT traders.
In fact, at least one other Bored Ape buyer was convinced that Schneiderman was ripping off the bot-stolen “Eternal Ape” by purchasing it for less than the lowest price.

Schneiderman bought the Boring Ape featured in his profile in 2022 for about $280,000, and it remains in his account. In fact, none of the NFTs in Schneiderman’s wallet have been put up for auction since the Justice Department indicted him.
Interestingly, Mr. Schneiderman has worked to form at least 50 companies in Florida in recent years, spending tens of thousands of dollars just to form them.
These include consulting firms, restaurants, hospitality businesses, marketing companies, and many other types of organizations.
